Vocals and Strings - an archetype of human music
Vocals and Strings - an archetype of human music: They complement each other, are rich in nuances of sound and create a vivid, intimate chamber-music atmosphere. Composers and musicians alike have always been fascinated by this ingenius harmony. From the whole bandwith of diverse literature on vocals and guitar Johann Scherr and Oskar Mörth have done both, interpreted original compositions and made their very own arrangements.
Their program includes songs from the renaissance to contemporary music - with a special focus on guitar adaptations of lute songs by John Dowland and arrangements of piano-based songs by Franz Schubert.
Currently the duo's free 5 song demo EP is available for shipping for production cost only price in our ONLINE STORE.
